Dave Husler, CEO
Dave Husler has over 20 years of military and civilian experience in international security. He developed a love of languages and foreign cultures as a linguist in the US Army and gained a strong foundation of analytic skills while earning a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University in Bethesda, Maryland. He has enjoyed adventures in over 20 countries. His passion is traveling with his family, experiencing different cultures, and helping others to have adventures of their own.
Amir Tavakoli, Chief Business Development Officer
Amir Tavakoli is an International Security Subject Matter Expert with the Department of Defense, where he has also served as an active and reserve duty senior military officer for the past 27 years. He is an avid traveler with a keen interest in foreign cultures and languages. Amir has traveled to 28 countries on three continents. He does extensive research for each country he travels to and lives to pass on knowledge gained from his travelling experiences. Amir turns every travelling opportunity into an adventure where learning becomes part of the fun.
Kevin Davis, Chief Strategist, Government and Law Enforcement
Kevin Davis led the Baltimore Police Department as its 39th Police Commissioner from 2015 – 2018 following the historic riots and during the Department of Justice’s civil rights investigation. Commissioner Davis negotiated a federal court-ordered consent decree with DOJ during a presidential transition of power. He has substantial crisis leadership experience in a national spotlight while leading reform initiatives in use of force, training and technology that received international attention and accolades. Commissioner Davis is a collaborative leader and consensus builder amongst diverse community groups, faith communities, elected officials, law enforcement peers and business partners.
Prior to leading the nation’s 8th largest police department in Baltimore, Commissioner Davis served as Police Chief for the Anne Arundel County, Maryland Police Department and retired as the Assistant Police Chief for the Prince George’s County, Maryland Police Department. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and FBI National Executive Institute. Commissioner Davis served on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Vice-Chair of the Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission, First Vice President of the Maryland Chiefs of Police Association and member of Maryland Governor Larry Hogan’s Justice Reinvestment Oversight Board.
Recognized by the Maryland Daily Record as an Influential Marylander, Commissioner Davis earned a master’s degree in Management from Johns Hopkins University and bachelor’s degree in English from Towson University. He has been recognized by the Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association with its Woodrow Wilson Award for Distinguished Government Service and is one of 15 alumni from DeMatha Catholic High School to ever receive its Distinguished Alumnus Award. A fourth-generation public safety servant, Commissioner Davis was born and raised in College Park, home to Maryland’s flagship University. He was awarded the Key to the City of College Park in 2009. Commissioner Davis is married and has four children.
Joel Borton, Chief Consultant
Joel Borton’s interest in foreign languages and cultures led him to major in Middle Eastern studies at the University of Washington. After earning a B.A. there in 1997, Joel embarked on a 15-year career in the U.S. government as a security and intelligence analyst. His expertise in the Persian, Arabic, and Kurdish languages garnered him numerous accolades from his colleagues and allowed him to support U.S. government operations in the Middle East. Joel has also traveled extensively throughout the region over the years. He currently resides in Georgia with his wife and two daughters.
Mac M. Martirossian, Senior Adviser
Born and raised overseas, Mac immigrated to the United States at the age of 13, speaking three languages. He graduated with honors from Long Island University and has served in senior leadership roles at four publicly traded companies, transitioning his career to positions of greater responsibility in General Management, Operations, and Sales and Marketing, globally across five continents. Most recently, he was number two in command with the Home Services Division of The Home Depot, managing annual sales of $600 million, through 1,300 sales reps and 3,000 installation crews working out of 26 branches in the US.
He started MThree Advisory Services in December 2009, focusing on growing client revenues profitably, and now serves a multitude of clients in the United States and Canada. Mac has served on various for-profit and non-profit boards.
Edward Yates, Chief Technical Consultant
Edward Yates has worked for more than 10 years in government contracting companies providing Cyber Security and multi-discipline intelligence analysis for federal government and Department of Defense agencies. A driven professional, Edward managed a diverse group of people with wide-ranging talents and capabilities enabling a client to meet the organization transformation goal and enabling clients’ ability to identify, scope and implement solutions for computer network infrastructure security requirements. As a former Global Network Analysis and Intrusion Detection/Protection System Training Specialist, Edward focused on understanding and communicating network architecture and human-enabled technologies while analyzing workflow processes to maximize production, inform the workforce, and maintain budgets.
A decorated Navy Veteran with over 20 years of honorable service. Edward served as Assistant Cryptologic Resource Coordinator for combined Carrier/ARG Strike Group. He managed units operating different warfare disciplines, including surface, air and sub-surface units operating in proximity while coordinating with theater and national assets. He established areas of operation, accounting for system and platform limitation within the various groups.

Ruthie Bowles, Chief Content Strategist
Ruthie’s passion for travel and cultural experiences began at a young age, and are what drove her to join the US Army as a linguist. Between national and international travels, Ruthie has quite a bit of travel experience under her belt. Following her time as a US Army Soldier and government contractor, Ruthie turned her love of writing into a content marketing business.

Reg King, Advisor
Reg King has over 20 years of experience in Crisis Management in the private sector and the U.S. Military. As a Regional Manager he provided crisis management and safe travel solutions for Fortune 500 Companies, Universities, Non-Profit Organizations and high net worth nationals.
As Military Leader and Intelligence Professional Reg leading joint Army, Navy, Air Force, Contractor and Foreign Allied personnel in organizations of over 400 people. He led the Joint Expeditionary Signals Intelligence Tactical Reconnaissance Unit for the Multi-National Corps-Iraq where he orchestrated daily combat missions performing Close Target Reconnaissance and SIGINT Terminal Guidance to capture High Value Targets in Iraq; efforts also resulted in hostage rescues.
Reg is a United States Naval Academy graduate and earned a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. He is Captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve and has been awarded the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Army Combat Badge, Navy Combat Ribbon and numerous expeditionary and campaign medals.
